Treasure Valley High Schools Prepare For Playoffs

It's the most wonderful time of the year! Idaho State Football Playoffs are here! Having gone to a school that gets really into their football program (Bishop Kelly...go Knights!), this has always been an exciting time of the year for me. I still get excited, no shame. I love seeing my school win--us Knights have a lot of pride.

Several teams from the Treasure Valley are playing this weekend to contend for state titles in the 3A, 4A, and 5A divisions. Shout out to the following schools!

3A: Homedale (playing Shelley on Friday) and Fruitland (plays Sugar-Salem Friday)

4A: BK (plays Skyline tomorrow), Middleton (plays Skyline Friday), Skyview (plays Idaho Falls Friday)

5A: Mtn. View (plays Rigby Friday), Local matchup Eagle vs. Rocky Mtn. Friday, Capital (plays Highland on Friday).

With a grand total of nine teams playing for 3 different state championships, I would say the Treasure Valley has a pretty solid chance at seeing some hardware come home in a couple of week.
