Discover 16 Unique Festivals in the Boise Area This Summer
We are not exaggerating when we say: the Treasure Valley has an incredible amount of events happening all summer long.
Perhaps the pandemic is to blame for this influx of activities?
Many of these events haven't even been able to happen over the past couple of years, and everyone has been cooped up in their homes... so maybe now people are going just a little bit crazy?
Well, whatever the reason may be, we are absolutely here for it.
What festivals are coming to town?
Oftentimes when people think of “festivals,” they only think of music.
Don’t get us wrong, we absolutely love attending music festivals as well, but there is so much more out there than simply this one type.
For instance, just this past weekend we had an Art & Roses Festival in downtown Boise, which featured live music, food vendors and a local fine art show.
The Idaho Shakespeare Festival also kicked off just a few weeks ago, and continues playing through September.
So as you can see, there are all kinds of fun and unique festivals to attend, and luckily for Idahoans, so many different kinds are coming to the Treasure Valley this summer – some starting as early as this weekend!
And these 16 festivals truly have something for everyone.
So continue scrolling to see which festivals you already love and absolutely cannot miss, and discover newer ones that you may check out for the very first time.
All we know is, this summer is about to be one for the books.
