I don't know if I have a more favorite hobby than concerts. Think about it: it's really the peak of an artist's work. They spend months, maybe years making an album, put it out, promote it, and then they get to watch their fans sing their words back to them. If I was a singer (let's face it, I would probably be a rapper rather than a singer), live shows would be the height of my career.

We've got some dope shows coming to the Treasure Valley this summer! Here's my top five that you should be at:

Common: July 13 at the Revolution. That's this Saturday! I'm bummed that I'll be missing it due to a birthday celebration in San Diego.

Garth Brooks: July 19 and 20 at Albertsons Stadium. These shows are currently sold out but I heard a rumor that more tickets are soon to be released.

Lord Huron: July 31 at Idaho Botanical Garden. Lord Huron is such a vibe! I saw them last month at a festival and the crowd was super chill. I particularly love garden shows so I'll definitely be there!

Wiz Khalifa: August 15 at Ford Idaho Center. French Montana will be touring with Wiz as well.

Nas: August 18 at the Revolution. Think about seeing someone as iconic as Nas at a venue as small as the Rev. I saw Nas at Gov Ball NYC last month and he's incredible live. Cannot wait to see him in a more intimate setting.
