Amazon Set To Hire 5,000 From-Home Workers

It has been announced that Amazon plans to add 30,000 jobs in a major hiring binge.  The job are all part-time positions however with the growth of Amazon and it's constant threat to the brick and mortar retail industry, this hiring binge comes as no surprise.

While there isn't an Amazon hub here in the Treasure Valley, jobs certainly have the potential to blanket those looking for jobs right here in our area because 5,000 of these jobs are in virtual customer service.  Virtual Customer Service at Amazon means that employees can work from home while helping online shoppers.

The positions are targeted for those that may be looking for a part time job opportunity, a second job,  or a source of income while going to school. One of the awesome features of these jobs is that working over 20 hours weekly, as a part-time employee, earns you full benefits!

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, Amazon's online shopping has impacted the retail industry, seriously, which employs 1 in every 10 workers in the United States.
