With the most recent school threat out of Nampa, you would think kids would learn that they will ALWAYS get caught and it will not be considered a prank.

School district officials say police have "identified and apprehended" the person responsible for an online threat at Heritage Middle School in Meridian.

The threat was made on social media, and brought to the attention of school staff last night.

West Ada School District officials told parents by email that while it is possible to consider it a prank, they will always take threats against the students, staff and school seriously.

Officials have not said whether the suspect is a student at the school, or whether that person will face criminal charges. I have a feeling they will have some major consequences either way.

Remember the days of going to school and the only thing you thought about was where everyone was going to be hanging out on Friday night after the big game? This is just getting out of hand.

Additional law enforcement and district staff will be at Heritage Middle School today, just as a precaution.
