The eight installment in the Fast & Furious franchise opened this weekend to rave reviews and impressive ticket sales.

According to their tweets, the Treasure Valley is supercharged about the new film.

The Fate of the Furious follows the adventures of Dom Toretto and crew as they once again get behind the wheel of some incredible machines and push out some of the best action scenes you'll see this year. The film is already setting records, beating out Star Wars: The Force Awakens for the biggest international opening of all time, reaching $530,000,000 in ticket sales over the weekend.

Fate is also getting a great reaction from fans. The tweets here show that the Treasure Valley is feeling the movie, but worldwide the film is also scoring high marks. The Fate of the Furious currently sits at a respectable 82% on Rotten Tomatoes. The last three installments of the series have the highest scores, all landing within one percent of each other.

Without spoiling anything, while Fate is action-packed, it's also a movie that'll pull on your heartstrings if you're a fan of the franchise. Every other tweet I saw about the film had something to do with crying and/or tears.

You can catch The Fate of the Furious in theaters now.
