Obviously everyone is biased, but I think I'm a great driver. The best I personally know, actually. Again, biased. But hey, we should all be confident, right? Apparently not everyone in Boise is a great driver, though.

Insurance comparison site QuoteWizard.com recently compared nationwide driving data to determine the 25 U.S. cities with the worst drivers.

Based on such factors as numbers of accidents, speeding tickets, DUIs, and citations in 75 cities across the country, here are the 10 U.S. cities with the worst drivers (you're going to probably be shocked and embarrassed about where we rank here in Boise):

  1. Portland, Oregon
  2. Boise, Idaho
  3. Virginia Beach, Virginia
  4. Columbus, Ohio
  5. Sacramento, California
  6. Salt Lake City, Utah
  7. Cleveland, Ohio
  8. Denver, Colorado
  9. San Francisco, California
  10. Richmond, Virginia

That's right, our very own Boise, Idaho comes in at the number two spot. SECOND WORST DRIVERS IN THE ENTIRE UNITED STATES?! This is terrible. I don't feel like our drivers are that bad?! And that's coming from a Boise transplant.

The full list and specifications they used to compile said list can be found here.
