Boise Rotary Club Assists Local School
I feel like I have said this time and time again, but the sense of community here in the Treasure Valley is truly one of a kind. It seems that people, organizations, and more all across our area are constantly offering a helping hand and making a difference. I think that is what makes Boise so special.
The Boise Rotary Club recently made a big difference in the lives of third graders at Whitney Elementary school. Every third grader received a personalized dictionary to call their own! It may not sound like the most "exciting" gift, but I can't imagine how STOKED I would be if I was a third grader getting my OWN dictionary with MY name on it! It's definitely something that students will be able to keep for years to come and put great use to.
The idea stemmed from The Dictionary Project that Rotary Club members around the world participate in.
