There's nothing more devastating than seeing breaking news come across of a school shooting.

UPDATE: At least one female patient has died, hospital officials confirm.

At least three people, with some reports saying up to seven, have been reported injured after a shooting at Saugus High School in Santa Clarita, California, on Thursday morning.

The AP reports that the incident began around 7:40 a.m. local time and that the shooter is still at large, while The Los Angeles Times reports that two people are in critical condition.

The L.A. Times also reports that the suspect, a 15-year-old boy who's believed to be a student at the school, was captured after an hourlong search and was taken to a hospital for unspecified treatment.

More details as they come out.
