Cirque du Soleil’s OVO Starts in Boise Today
Have you gone to a Cirque du Soleil show?! I've been a few times on their traveling tour as well as in Vegas. and their shows are truly amazing. Today, Cirque du Soleil returns to Boise for the first time since 2012 with OVO.
If you're looking to catch a show, you've got a few chance to see the Cirque performers at ExtraMile Arena through the weekend. Tonight the shows kick off at 7:30 p.m., tomorrow there are two shows at 4p and at 7:30 p.m., Saturday Feb. 29 at 4 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., and Sunday March 1 at 1:30 p.m. and 5 p.m.
About the Show:
OVO, meaning “egg” in Portuguese, is a headlong rush into a colorful ecosystem teeming with life, where insects work, eat, crawl, flutter, play, fight and look for love in a nonstop riot of energy and movement.
When a mysterious egg appears in their midst, the insects are awestruck and intensely curious about this iconic object that represents the enigma and cycles of their lives. It is love at first sight when a gawky, quirky insect arrives in this bustling community and a fabulous ladybug catches his eye – and the feeling is mutual.
Ticket Information:
OVO tickets are available at www.cirquedusoleil.com/ovo. Prices range from $33-125 for adults, and children's tickets start at $25. Discounted senior, military and student tickets and family four packs are available.
The shows really are SO dope and way more different than anything else you'll ever see. I'm going tonight, hope to see you there!
