Football Analysts Betting Big Against Boise State This Fall

Last fall wasn't the best fall for Boise State's football team--but in true Bronco fashion, things got turned around for the better. The season began rough, with losses early on including a road loss to UTEP that really seemed to tip the scales--in the wrong direction. The Broncos had fans calling for heads--something that this fan base isn't used to and eventually, a mid-season coaching change was made (yet another aspect of a season that Broncos just aren't used to).

Luckily for Boise State, their interim Offensive Coordinator, Dirk Koetter, turned things around and saved the season from being what would have been the worst in 20 or more years.

For over a decade, Boise State and their football program have been a household name for success. Love them or hate them, the reality of Boise State's win percentage is undeniable. Major programs know that playing "the little guy" is a risk when it comes to Boise State because when given the chance to be on that big stage--they often win.

Kicking off the season this year? A road game to Pac-12 power, University of Washington. The Broncos have played in Seattle twice--and lost both times. Of course, this is also the program that stole Chris Petersen from Boise as well. There's a lot of passion behind this game.

As you can see above, the experts--who know a lot of adjustments have been made in Boise--just don't see Boise State competing with the Huskies.

Of course, fans here in Boise are irate to see a margin predicted this way, however this isn't the first time that Boise State has been pegged as the underdog and many believe it won't be the last time that they prove the nation wrong. The game is going to be nationally televised--all eyes are on Boise!
