Forever 21 Sends Diet Bars with Plus-Size Orders, Apologizes

Forever 21 has apologized after including free Atkins bars in its shipments to some plus-size customers.

"What are you trying to tell me Forever 21?" one customer tweeted after receiving a diet bar in the mail. "I’m FAT, LOSE WEIGHT?"

In a statement, the company said, “The freebie items in question were included in all online orders, across all sizes and categories, for a limited time...This was an oversight on our part and we sincerely apologize for any offense this may have caused to our customers, as this was not our intention in any way."

The "freebies" will reportedly no longer be shipped out.

Do you find this out of line? I guess it could have been an oversight like they're saying, but you really never know what someone's intentions were before being called out.

Further more.. do people still do the Atkins diet? I feel like that's one I haven't heard of in at least a decade.
