Friday Faves 5/24
The day that Ed Sheeran announced he'd be putting out his next album No. 6 on July 12, he also put out his latest single "Cross Me" featuring Chance the Rapper and PnB Rock. One of my favorite releases of this week!
Young Thug, J. Cole and Travis Scott teamed up with producer T-Minus to drop off a surprise single yesterday. "The London" is the first single off of Thugger's upcoming album GØŁDMØÜFDÖG which will reportedly be executive produced by J. Cole.
This wasn't J. Cole's only feature released this week, we also got "Purple Emoji" from Ty Dolla $ign with the Cole feature.
Joyner Lucas and Logic teamed up for "Isis", and Tyga has a featured spot on Shenseea's single "Blessed".
The biggest album release this week? YG's fourth studio album 4REAL 4REAL that comes more than a month later than the Compton rapper had originally planned. YG delayed the release after his close friend Nipsey Hussle was killed. The album is dedicated to Nip with a portion of proceeds going to Hussle's two children and features Tyga, Jon Z, Meek Mill, Ty Dolla $ign, G-Eazy, Kamaiyah, Valee, Boogie, Arin Ray and DaBaby.
I've added my favorite releases from the week to my Friday Faves playlist on Spotify- make sure you're following to get the latest, hottest releases each week! Just search 'kitkatfisher' on Spotify.
