Another great week for the music industry. Rihanna didn't give us any more info on the highly anticipated R9 album, but she did top the Forbes list as highest paid female musician with $600million. Jay-Z has also become hip hops first ever billionaire.

Neither of them gave us any new music, but a lot of other people did.

Tyga is not slowing down after having the biggest comeback of 2018, he put out his latest album Legendary. Fourteen tracks including hit Taste and features from Lil Wayne, Chris Brown, Blueface, Gunna, Swae Lee, A Boogie wit da Hoodie and Bazzi.

The only Future I'm really checking for is What a Time To Be Alive 2, but I'll take a his first completely solo effort for now. The seven track album Save Me is what he's calling his most vulnerable, visual and vital statement yet.

The Jonas Brothers dropped their album Happiness Begins and girls in their 20s everywhere are freaking out. Their first joint album in years after breaking up and doing their own solo things is actually pretty good. I've skimmed through and am not mad at some of the beats.

Tim, put out by Avicii's estate, is the first posthumous effort released since the artist tragically died by suicide in April of 2018. It's also his first full length album in more than 3 years.

Tons of one-off singles also out this week! Make sure you're following my Friday Faves playlist on Spotify below for a weekly compilation of my favorite releases.
