Ahhh it feels like summer is ending with the final Friday of August as we head into the long Labor Day weekend. We got some last minute summer hits as well as some fall anthems.

ALBUMS--

SiR: Chasing Summer- perfectly titled, the TDE R&B singer's sophomore album gives us 14 tracks featuring collabs with, of course, Kendrick Lamar, plus Lil Wayne, Sabrina Claudio, Jill Scott and Zaracri with production from Sounwave, Boi-1da, and Tae Beast.

Lana Del Rey: Norman F*cking Rockwell!- We haven't gotten a full-length project from Lana since 2017, and this was worth the wait. I skipped through the 14 tracks this morning as I got ready for work and saved a few to my playlists already, but can't wait to go back through and listen for real. Driving music for sure.

Common: Let Love- Can you believe Common has put out twelve studio albums over the last three decades? This may be his most powerful album yet, as it's inspired by his recent memoir Let Love Have The Last Word, where he opens up about sexual abuse as a child. Let Love features 11 star-studded tracks with Daniel Caesar, Swizz Beatz, Leikeli47, BJ The Chicago Kid, Jill Scott and Leon Bridges.
