Remember the day the stay at home order went into effect? There was so much uncertainty, our lives definitely changed over night. Over the next few days we all made adjustments and now two months later we know a new normal. I used to go to the grocery store once a week and now I go once every three weeks, last night I was looking around my pantry thinking... it's funny how my pantry is actually stocked now. What did I do with all that shelf space before?... oh yeah, it was empty. The interesting thing is that according to a recent survey by EverydayCarrry.com 1 in 4 Idahoans admit they will miss the stay at home order. Netflix and chill is one thing but honestly I think that the chance to slow down and spend time with loved ones as has given us a different perspective. Here are a few more findings from the survey.

  • A third say lockdown has brought about a greater community spirit.
  • Almost half appreciated spending more time with their families.
  • 27% say they have upskilled during lockdown.
