We've said it once and we'll say it again: whoever is running the social media accounts for Jerome police needs a raise. This time - it's for sharing a post highlighting what appears to be a "war" between Jerome police and Jerome firefighters.

Is There A War Going On Between Idaho Police & Firefighters?

As civilians, many of us can't tell you what true feelings police and firefighters have for each other but one thing is evident - there is a rivalry going on.

Recently, Jerome police shared a post showing what is allegedly an "attack" from Jerome firefighters.

"OK, Jerome City Fire Department, you guys have gone too far this time," a post read from Jerome Police Department-Idaho.

"We stopped for five minutes to get donuts and come out to find this!?"

Jerome police then described what eyewitnesses told them.

"20+ people said two guys with funny mustaches, driving a big red truck, were to blame. Not cool."

What's Going On Between Jerome Police And Firefighters?

There are two big takeaways here.

First off, if this really happened, then it sounds like we're all going to have the chance to witness one of the most epic prank wars in recent memory.

Second, it's obviously a joke but a huge part of us is hoping Jerome firefighters really had a part in it. We don't mean that in any malicious way, but come on - how often do we get to see a public prank war take place between firefighters and police officers?

By the way, there has been no claim of responsibility on the Facebook page "Jerome City Fire Department."
