Legos Are My Post-Christmas Stress

Putting together Legos is so fun...when it's done a certain way. Legos, in general, stress me out. Am I the only one who has to categorize by color before starting? It's genuinely a stress for me - as are other "messy" toys post-Christmas. 

Bring in the psychologists. Oh my gosh, you'd have a heyday with me. I have to do things a certain way. My 8-year old who got 7 ...yes SEVEN Lego sets doesn't find it amusing when I'm asking if we can categorize by color. In my head it's for a very specific reason - efficiency. How can you find the right Lego if it's in a giant pile?

Am I crazy? Do you have a post-Christmas toy or activity that you share a love/hate relationship with? Any weird habits that surround it?
