Long Running Boise Nail Salon to Shut Down

One of downtown Boise's most iconic locations is shutting their doors. L.A. Nails off Broadway, and famously nestled between the old Cobby's location and Starbucks will shut their doors on May 10th.

The location has been open for 18 years, offering a variety of services such as nails, spa pedicures and manicures, and facial waxing.

I talked to the owner to get some more information. In our conversation, he expressed his sorrow for the shutdown. It's not by choice but with all the new growth Boise is experiencing, rent prices have skyrocketed. That coupled with the fact the building is very old, and the landlords refuse to make much needed modern updates doesn't make it feasible to maintain doing business.
