Michelle Heart Finally Wins Big In Albertson's Monopoly; You Only Have a Few Days Left to Get Your Pieces

I told myself I wouldn't play this year, but my fiance came home with a game board so...

I saw this sitting on my kitchen counter in February, I almost cried. For the past three years, I've been so sucked into Albertsons Monopoly that I would beg my friends for game pieces, secretly hope that the people in front of me in line weren't playing so I could ask the cashier for their unused pieces and eat the same damn can of tuna fish almost everyday because it was worth a bonus piece at check out. And you know what I've won? NOTHING. SQUAT. JACK. Every year I feel so defeated because I'm always like one piece away from winning something cool. Never again I told myself. Never again!

But once the game board was in our apartment, it was on like Donkey Kong! Everyone I knew started to give me their pieces. (Big shout out to our tech Chandler who gave me over 100 of them! I don't know how he ended up with them, but I'm so happy he did!) I would run errands for our half marathon training coach simply so that I could keep the tokens from the Gatorade and snacks we needed after a long run. And you know what?

This year it paid off! My fiancé and I FINALLY won something on the game board!

Ok, it may have only been a $5 Albertson's Gift Card...but I still feel like a winner!
