Who would we be as Idahoans to not point out that today is National French Fry day? After all in the mind of half the USA we are the potato state. It only makes sense that we would have some pretty impressive fry's so allow me to take this opportunity to share my 3 favorite spots to partake in Idaho's prized possession.

Yes,The Boise Fry Company is a local chain but the variety of fries they offer is next level and can be overwhelming (Russet, Purple, Gold, Red, Yam, Sweet or Brussells sprouts) but what would you expect from a place called Boise Fry Company. BTW I love how the fries are always the main dish and the burgers are considered the side. They do have five locations including three in Boise, one in Meridian, and one in Nampa so no matter where you are, you're always close to one.

Fork Restaurant downtown on 8th is a regular stomping ground of mine and while I love their drinks the fries are locally sourced and they are de-li-cious!  From the asparagus fries with the ranch dipper to the rosemary-parmesan variety... they are simply mouthwatering.

The views are very cool from Brick 29 Bistro’s vantage point but the as good as those are the B29 Fries are better...  picture this... Skin on potatoes, fresh garlic, swiss fondue, topped with scallions... Can you say... Seconds please.
