National Girl Scout Day: Make Your Own Cookies [COMING SOON!]

So I heard through the grapevine there's a bit of a Girl Scout cookie shortage in the Treasure Valley.  Well, thanks to Wicked Cool Toys, you may never be without your Thin Mints again!

This makes me so happy!  The toy company has partnered with Girl Scouts of the USA to produce the official Girl Scout Cookie Oven.  Similar to the childhood toy that my parents despised (I'm fairly sure they were more comfortable with me baking in the real oven), the Easy Bake Oven, this lets little girls and adults alike make cookies that taste just like the real deal in the comfort of their own kitchen!  It'll retail for $59.99 and includes a mix to make your own Thin Mints.

Prefer another flavor?  The toy maker will sell refill packs for PB Sandwiches, Trefoils, Chocolate Peanut Butter, Coconut Caramel, Chocolate Chip, Sugar and Oatmeal for $6.99 a piece.

The best part?  The Girl Scout Cookie Oven is being released during the off season for purchasing real Girl Scout Cookies.  You'll be able to find it on toy store shelves this fall.
