PIX: Meet Royal Baby Archie Harrison

My friends have been going nutty banan over the royal baby arrival. What will the name be?! How will they do the announce?! And finally! Today, the royal baby has been revealed!

“The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are pleased to announce they have named their first born child: Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor,” Prince Harry and Meghan Markle announced today on Instagram.

Us Weekly reports the name was chosen in part to honor Harry's mother, Princess Diana, as one of her ancestors was Archibald Campbell the Ninth Earl of Argyll. Harry and Meghan also shared pics of Harry's grandparents, Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, as well as Markle's mother, Doria Ragland, meeting the baby.

Meghan Markle made her public debut as a mom on Wednesday when she posed for pics inside Windsor Castle alongside husband Prince Harry and their newborn son.

"Parenting is amazing. It’s only been what, two and a half days, three days, but we’re just so thrilled to have our own little bundle of joy. We have to spend some precious time with him as he slowly starts to grow up.”

USA Today notes that Queen Elizabeth II is also scheduled to meet her great-grandson sometime on Wednesday.
