Guess who's back....back again....THE MOSQUITOS ARE BACK.

We hear about it every summer but much like the pesky breed that they are, so too are the pesky reminders to be safe out there when you're in areas with lost of mosquitos. West Nile Virus is the last thing we need to be dealing with during a global pandemic, right?

There are always a handful of cases here in the Treasure Valley during the summer and this year is going to be no exception. Just announced by health officials in Canyon County, there have been three new confirmed samples of the West Nile Virus in Caldwell and in the Lake Lowell area.

If you're out in the evenings when this things are out flying around, make sure you're wearing repellant with Deet and that you're wearing long sleeves and pants when possible. Health officials also recommend making sure you don't have any standing water around your home as this is where the breeding happens.
