The Burger-King Wedding Paid for By…Burger King!

It's all just too perfect not to come together. Burger King learned of a couple who have known each other since kindergarten who are getting married. Their last names are Burger and King. BK couldn't let the opportunity pass.

They were each others first love. Starting in kindergarten, Joel Burger and Ashley King have been inseparable. Now, many many years later, Joel  has proposed to Ashley and she has said "yes"! The Burger-King wedding will take place this summer.

That's not all.

Burger King - the actual fast food restaurant - heard about all of this. "When we heard about the happy, Burger-King couple, we felt an overwhelming urge to celebrate their upcoming marriage," said Eric Hirschhorn, Burger King Brand spokesman. "On so many levels it felt like fate; they found each other and their story found us."
