Where Does Idaho Rank On The Best & Worst States To Raise A Family List
2021 is the symbol of new beginnings for many of us and for some that means starting a family. One of the most important factors to consider when starting a family is where to raise children. I remember not wanting to have children based on the " state" of this world. Allow me to explain, everyday we turn on the news and learn of horrible people doing horrible things so for me it was really a question of why I would want to bring someone into such an ugly world? At some point I became of the mindset that it's conscious people like me that should have children because well raised children will make for a better world. Needless to say two kids later finding the best place to raise them has always been a topic of conversation. WalletHub to the rescue! Their study titled 2021's Best & Worst States to Raise a Family is now out, here is the methodology:
"To determine the best states in which to put down family roots, WalletHub compared the 50 states across 52 key indicators of family-friendliness. The data set ranges from the median annual family income to housing affordability to the unemployment rate."
Check out the full list below and notice that Idaho comes in at number 34. I'm not quite sure I agree with that but I'm not ready to protest.
