People for Unity are hosting a "Sister March" showing solidarity with the Women's March on Washington this Saturday. The women of Idaho have an opportunity to participate and be heard.

Okay, ladies, now let's get in formation.

3,000 people turned out in the heavy snow and cold temps to stand with women on the official day of the Women's March which is taking place throughout the world. The entire world!

Why the march?

HERE is an explanation as to why people are marching.

The idea to have a women's march started with a woman in Hawaii and a woman in New York who felt like they needed to be heard. This all happened immediately after the election results were in. The idea caught on with thousands and spanned nationwide.

It has now become a full-fledged idea with most states participating in the march.

These women are leading it all.

Tomorrow (Saturday), the Women's March on Idaho begins at 10:00 a.m. at the Capitol Building which will move toward Boise's City Hall.

Why?

"This is about inspiring and honoring those who champion human rights, dignity, diversity and justice."

What if we choose love? What if we take every day of our lives and make it our mission to accept others, to learn from others, to help others, to love unconditionally? Wouldn't that make our nation stronger? Yes.
