If you've ever been to the Boise Farmers Market you know how busy and cool this thing is!  I guess it's a sign that I'm getting old when I start thinking a farmers market is cool...but then again, one could argue: Boise really does this right!

From really good food trucks (like the one that makes crepes) to the awesome local bread and honey that get produced right here in the Treasure Valley and sold at our farmers market, there's something for everyone at each gathering. That, of course, is no secret. If it were, they wouldn't be needing to move to a new location for more space--the old one was just getting too crowded!

Starting this weekend, Saturday, April 6th, the Farmers Market will be open at its new home in downtown Boise! The new location is at 1500 Shoreline Drive-- this is a large parking lot between Americana Boulevard and River Street. Certainly, you won't be able to miss it (and the crowd) when you're looking for its new home this Saturday.

If you're there when it opens, at 8:50 a.m. you'll be able to catch Mayor Dave Bieter cut the ribbon and the first 250 people in are getting free coffee and pastries! You can't go wrong with that!
