West End Food Park Opens Today

If one of your favorite meals comes from one of the many street side vendors across the Treasure Valley, you'll think you died and went to heaven at the new West End Food Park.  It opens today!

According to KTVB, the city of Boise reached a six month agreement with the new food truck park and would allow it to set up shop in empty property on Fairview Avenue between 24th and 25th streets.  If things go well, that agreement could be extended.

The plan is to have as many as 10 food trucks lined up in the lot with the addition of outdoor seating and lighting.  A fruit and veggie stand has also been discussed.

You can join them for their grand opening Bike Rally this evening at 6 PM to kick off a night of great food and beer!
