Boise’s Logan Johnson Coming Back To American Idol

Who says there's no such thing as a second chance? On Monday, American Idol announced that three previously eliminated contestants--Season 16's Layla Spring and Season 17's Logan Johnson and Shawn Robinson--will be brought back for another shot at fame during the American Music Awards this coming Sunday.

Each will film an audition at the Whisky a Go Go nightclub, which will then air on the AMAs and be put to an audience vote. The winner, who will automatically make it to next season's Hollywood round, will be announced on Dancing With The Stars the following night. America Idol will be returning for its 18th season in 2020.
