If you're an active, qualified High School student in Boise, the city is hoping you will apply to be a part of their governing board.   The positions are unpaid and are open to any high school students living within Boise city limits.

Though the positions are unpaid, this could be great working experience for a student that has interest in government or leadership.  I can't think of a better way to get early exposure to governing, leadership panels, or networking than joining the City of Boise.

An example of decisions made by student-involved panels include the approved artwork depicted in the Idaho Statesman for the plaza in front of City Hall.
