Friday Faves: New Music Friday 7/12

Birthday edition! Your birthday only happens on a Friday once every seven years, which means you're only blessed with a birthday edition of New Music Friday essentially once a decade.

When I woke up at 3:45a this morning (your girl hit the snooze button) I pulled up Spotify to peep every new drop. But it said I needed to update my password. I checked my email and saw that they were resetting my password due to 'suspicious activity'.. something that happened to both my Netflix and IG within the past week as well! I think I may have joined a sketchy open WiFi while in Spain last week, and got hacked. Hopefully not, but three hacked accounts in a week?! Seems sus.

Either way, I got in and found every dope new song of the week.

Ed Sheeran hit us with the biggest collaboration album I've seen in a while. No. 6 Collaborations Project gives us tracks with Khalid, Justin Bieber, Chance the Rapper and PnB Rock, 50 Cent and Eminem, Bruno Mars and Chris Stapleton, Travis Scott, Meek Mill, Young Thug, H.E.R., Ella Mai, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, and Stormzy. The album is fire. Listen immediately.

Big K.R.I.T. put out K.R.I.T. IZ HERE, most notably with previously released Addiction with Lil Wayne and Saweetie. The album also features Rico Love, Yella Beezy and J. Cole.
