Idaho is More Patriotic Than You Think

We're the top of the crop for potatoes, gun owners, and freedom!

Our friends at WalletHub put together a list of the most patriotic states in the USA, and Idaho fared extremely well. They tabulated the states with the highest military enrollment, adult voters, volunteers, military veterans, and numerous other factors to determine how much love every state has for America.

Just east of us in Washington, they ranked #6 in the country for patriotism, while Oregon landed much lower at #39 on the list. How did we do? Overall, Idaho is the 8th most patriotic state in the good ol' USA, with the third highest average of military enrollment in the country.

According to this study, which states love freedom the least? That would be Illinois at #49 and New Jersey lands at the bottom at #50. We totally love freedom way more than them.
