Fans (myself included) have been wondering if vocals heard on one of Mac Miller's new songs are from his ex Ariana Grande.

It turns out, social media users could be right about hearing Ariana Grande's voice on her ex-boyfriend's posthumous album, according to The New York Post. Fans heard Grande's voice on the track "I Can See," and a producer who worked on the album believes her voice could be there.

When asked about whether any of her vocals are used in the song, producer Jon Brion said, "I believe there are." He explained, "somebody just told me something about that, some kerfuffle. I mean, that was a pre-existing track. There were a few songs the family gave me that he’d been working on independently that I thought fit thematically with what we had worked on. "I Can See" was one of those… I played some things on those tracks to make them feel like the others, but those vocals were already there. It wasn’t like an executive decision or anything.”

Not to mention, Ari tweeted out something that could have confirmed it right before the album released.

Looks like she could have been letting us know to listen for her background harmonies.

Grande and Miller dated for about two years from 2016 to 2018, with their split becoming public in May 2018. Miller was found in September 2018 dead of an apparent overdose. Circles is his first posthumous release.

Have you listened to the album yet? It's so beautiful, I've had it on repeat since Friday.
