It's been four years, Boise. I'm humbled.

What would we do without TimeHop? That pesky app on our phone that reminds us of what we were up to on "this day" a handful of years ago. Nothing like seeing old photos of ex's and awkward Facebook statuses, right?

This morning I woke up to a throwback post that I definitely wasn't expecting-- my first day on the air here in Boise at 103.5 KISS FM.

Boise is my hometown--I love this city so much. After being away for four years to work and study, I missed it often but loved the growth that came along with leaving home and doing my own thing. I swore I wouldn't come back to Boise for several more years-- I wanted this to be a place I could bring my career and settle down a little. Plot twist: a job opened up here at KISS FM that I ultimately decided I needed to pounce on-- I love a challenge and I saw a LOT of room for growth.

The past four years here in Boise have offered me just that. I'm thankful to be close to my family, I'm humbled by the ability to crack open a microphone and speak with my hometown, and I am ever grateful for the professional opportunities I have been granted here.  I grew up listening to this radio station and things are vastly different now. The city is different, the business is different, and I'll...proudly...never be a part of the past--because the new chapter that I have been apart of here at 103.5 KISS FM has been an absolute RIOT! SO often I talk to guys like Chris Cruise, who you may recall being a part of our team at one point, and just laughing at the memories we made during our time here together.

Thanks to YOU, the awesome people that support us at 103.5 KISS FM and show up to our events, parties, festivals, or even just call in--the memories keep coming and they're invaluable.

From Bishop Kelly having us out to do their school dances, to teaming up with Boise Pride. Our crazy nights in downtown Boise or under the sun at Boise Music Festival. If you're reading this, YOU have been a part of my time here and if there's one thing I know, this "job" isn't about me--it's about being there for YOU.

I'm not going anywhere, so if you're one of those people that hates my annoying laugh...I get it, it's terrible....BUT you're still stuck with me. Who knows when my time will come to take on a new challenge but for now, I'm soaking THIS one in the best way I know how.

Thank you, Treasure Valley, for being so awesome and here's to four more years together.
