Mateo’s Car Search is Over…Finally

It's officially...OFFICIALLY over and I've got to give a huge shoutout to the team over at Steve's Hometown Toyota in Ontario for making it all come together.

If you have been listening to 103.5 KISS FM at all lately or if you are following us on social media (shameless plug...it's @KissBoise), you know that the car search for me has been REAL.

Shopping for a car can be one of the most annoying tasks EVER-- you've got to do your research and hit that dealership ready to roll, right? Because there seems to always be this looming fear that you're going to get talked into a BAD deal. Well, literally hundreds of you blew up my DM's recommending various dealerships and sales professionals. I spent the last couple of weekends driving around town and seeing what lots and folks you recommended had to offer and I felt it only appropriate to report back and say that YES-- I finally found the car I wanted and I'm driving it all over the Treasure Valley with a BIG smile on my face.

I knew that I wanted to get into a Toyota 4Runner and I wasn't about to budge on that. I searched around town for exactly what I wanted and little did I know that I would end up in Ontario.  The team over at Hometown Toyota in Ontario stood out because of the way that they were able to go above and beyond in my car hunt. Not only were they accessible to me via email, text, and phone call (there was no pushy "just come in and see us" pitch), these guys went out of their way to find the EXACT vehicle I wanted, drove to Portland, Oregon to get it overnight and the keys were in my hand the next day. When I went to pick up the vehicle, they walked me through absolutely everything and even brought me back to the employee lounge for their Saturday BBQ.  You can check out some of the photos of the 4Runner that I ended up with, below!
