My Weekend in Five Photos

My friend Carly came to visit me from Seattle over the weekend and it was her first time in Boise!

Friday night we checked out Treefort Fest downtown and it was SO different than any other festival I've been to! Liz Phair was on the main stage.. so fun to hear some songs I'd completely forgotten about!

Saturday morning we drove up to McCall! I haven't made it up there yet so I was hype to see it. We rented boards from a shop in town and found out that it was the final night skiing for Little Ski Hill. The guys from the shop said they were all going after work and would meet us on the hill.

Everyone told us that the T-Bar lift at Little Ski would "wreck us".. and I can't say they were wrong. I've only boarded once this season, and Carly hasn't boarded in ten years so it was not easy to figure out how to ride up the T-Bar. But we got it! I did probably a dozen or so runs before we called it quits for the night.

The guys from the shop offered to take our gear back for us since they closed before we were done and we didn't plan on staying the night. I feel like that's the customer service you only get in a small town like that. McCall is SO beautiful! Even the drive up was dope. 10/10 will be going back this summer for a lake experience.

Carly had an afternoon flight on Sunday, so we spent the morning bopping around the North End shops. I hadn't been into Goody's yet- it was so cute and so cheap! Tons of homemade stuff and vintage candy. Carly brought a bunch of treats home for friends.

I love when my friends come to visit in Boise! It's such a unique place and I love showing my Seattle friends that Idaho is wayyyyy more than just potatoes.
