Remember That Crash on Eagle Yesterday
Yesterday afternoon, news broke of an accident on Eagle Road and Ustick. Robin Scott and myself were watching on the traffic cameras in the studio. Traffic was backed up and all we knew was that a pedestrian and been hit by a vehicle. Even after the accident, people lingered around the scene discussing what had happened. Today, KTVB reported more details of the incident and sadly, life was lost.
A 27-year-old woman has died after she was hit by a concrete truck in Meridian.
Meridian Police say the woman was walking south in the crosswalk at Eagle Road and Ustick Road around 5:25 Tuesday night when she was hit by the right tire of a concrete truck, driven by a 46-year-old man.
The woman, whose name has not yet been released, later died at a local hospital.
This is a sad sobering reminder to watch out for pedestrians on Treasure Valley roads.
