Southwest District Health Cancels Meeting Again
Lots of noise was made in Caldwell at Southwest District Health as board members met to discuss measures for their respective counties surrounding COVID-19. Little did those board members know, so much noise would be made...the meeting wouldn't even be held. Employees of Southwest District Health were met with a group of protestors, led by Ammon Bundy, a well-known car fleet manager, who felt they deserved the opportunity to speak at the meeting of board members at Southwest District Health. The protest eventually got violent as Bundy shoved a health district worked in an attempt to get in the building.
The meeting that was canceled that day, had been rescheduled to be held tomorrow, Tuesday July 20th. That meeting has now been canceled as well.
Officials at Southwest District Health via a press release this afternoon cite security concerns as the reason for this cancelation and hope to announce a new date, soon.
