WHAT I LEARNED BY WATCHING FORD V FERRARI

Sometimes life finds a way to remind you about the most important things. This past Friday I went to the movies to watch a car movie... or so I thought. If you've read my blogs or have listened to me on the radio you may know that I'm a car guy. I love cars!! New one's, Classics, Trucks, Sportscars, Chevy's, Porsche's, Audi's, Volkswagen's and the list goes on and on. The point is that I went to watch a car movie and walked away with a very important reminder.

Here is what I learned from watching Ford v Ferrari. (without telling you too much about the movie)

1. Life is too short to not do what you love. At the end of our day and frankly our lives we only have one person to answer too... Ourselves. Don't disappoint yourself because you didn't chase your dream.

2. Your significant other should know, understand and support your dream. One can never truly make others happy if they themselves are not happy. When your significant other understands your passion they will encourage you to do what fulfills you. In return you will return the favor. In the case of the movie you can say " Behind every great man is an even greater woman"

3. We all need at least one AMAZING friend. I'm talking a ride or die. One that will tell you when you're right, wrong and otherwise. One that will celebrate the wins and lament the loses with you. One that you can always count on.

This may be a movie about cars or about life, but regardless of how you see it, it's a great movie. I encourage you to watch it.
