Whiskey Bar Coming To Downtown Boise

This is totally dangerous because I am such a whiskey girl! The heart of Downtown Boise is getting a new, unique bar and this girl will totally be there for the opening weekend!

While flipping through "The Scene" in the paper today, I came across an article about the grand opening of Whiskey Bar in the old Sammy's space on Main Street, Thursday, May 1st.  So what's so special about the new bar?  It specializes in whiskey...150 to 200 varieties of whiskey.  It sounds like the perfect place for me to expand my whiskey love beyond Crown, Jack and Fireball!

Plus, if you're one of the many Treasure Valley craft brew lovers, they'll also have eight beers on tap that are barrel-aged or typically hard-to-find!  I've been watching the construction when we walk past that space on Main Street every weekend and I'm stoked to see that a cool sounding place like Whiskey Bar is going in there!
