If you live in Nampa, Meridian and anywhere near Taco Bell Arena then you heard about the Garth Brooks Concert on the Blue. That was a magical weekend if you were able to attend.

This was the first major concert ever held on the Bronco blue turf and that night welcomed lights out performances by Garth Brooks, Blake Shelton, Granger Smith and more. Grab your friends in low places and make a date with Garth this Thanksgiving.

Garth Brooks announced a 4-part special with A&E to air this November called, "The Road I'm On". This rare series will document Garth's sold-out stadium tour and those special "Dive Bar" pop us concerts that kept surprising fans city by city.

A&E plans to go behind the scenes in his life and marriage with Trisha Yearwood. They will also showcase all the special sold-out stadium tours and that could be Boise.

Sidenote: I've lived in several cities and done radio in all of them. The place I live that got the most buzz was Anchorage, Alaska. I mention this because it's so different than most and  major city programmers wanted to talk about radio in an igloo (so stereotypical!)

I'm giving you that example because Boise came with some unforeseen hurdles that were both good and bad. The good was Blake Shelton debuting his Summer smash, "Dive Bar" live at Bronco Stadium where a video was shot. The bad was the electricity going on to kick-off the show. That drama that occurred turned the night into probably the best show I've ever seen. That's gonna be a great story to tell in a documentary I'd expect to see us all on the big screen.

This 2-night, 2-hour special will air on November 24 and 25 on A&E.
