It's that time of year again!  Boise's Ironman 70.3 is back this Saturday and will affect traffic around the Treasure Valley.

This could be the end of an era for Boise Ironman 70.3, as the city has not yet re-signed the $50,000 contract to hold the race in the Treasure Valley in the future so if you've ever wanted to see the race, take advantage of a gorgeous weekend to see it!

Around 1,200 athletes will take on the 1.2 mile swim through Lucky Peak's Barclay Bay, 56 mile bike ride through east/southeast Boise and 13.1 mile run along the greenbelt before finishing in Julia Davis Park.  Of course that means road closures/delays/detours to keep the athletes safe.  There are fewer traffic changes this year, but here's the areas affected!
