BPD is searching for any information about a reported sexual assault on the Greenbelt last Wednesday.

According to KTVB a female victim was pushed to the ground and sexually assaulted around 6:25 PM on February 23rd.  The incident took place north of the Boise River and west of the Americana Bridge.

She was able to fight the man off and run away.  The suspect was last scene running west from where the assault occurred.

BPD has released a sketch and describes the suspect has dark skin (possibly Native American or Hispanic,) an average build with longer hair and a patchy beard.  He was wearing a dark blue and green plaid shirt, dark pants and a stocking cap.

Anyone with information with about the assault or suspect is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 343-COPS.
