BSU Alum Signs HUGE Deal with NFL

Doug Martin is an alum of Boise State and the NFL's second-leading rusher so when the time came to offer a deal, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers didn't waste any time. The deal is giant!

When you've got a good thing, you hold on to it. In this case, it's Doug Martin. The Buccaneers weren't chancing losing one of the league's top running backs so they offered Martin a 5 year, $35.75 million deal to continue to play for the Bucs.

All I can think about is the fact that he was the same guy cramming for finals, hanging downtown Boise and standing in line for a coffee at Java. While that may not be exactly what Doug was doing, it's the fact that we all have lived and continue to live among incredible people in the Treasure Valley.
