I've had this cross my mind in the past. I was in a 4-year relationship, with the last year being more of a roommate situation. You know, where things aren't good, they aren't bad, they just...are.

Did I cheat? Absolutely not. The thought did cross my mind though. I was always out meeting new people and wondering, would this person be better for me? Why am I tying myself down if it's not working? Are we ever going to be the couple we once were?
