Wow, this is such a powerful album for so many reasons.

Last night, along with Halsey's new album (which I LOVE), Dreamville's new album (haven't had a chance to fully listen yet but I know it's going to be dope obviously) and Mac Miller's first posthumous album Circles which is a companion album to his last album before passing, Swimming, Eminem surprise-released a new albumMusic To Be Murdered By. The full-length features 20 songs, and includes collaborations with Anderson Paak, Q-Tip, Ed Sheeran (one of my favorite tracks off of the album), Royce da 5’9″, Skylar Grey, and the late Juice WRLD.

Along with the album, Eminem also dropped a powerful, pro-gun control video for the song "Darkness." The video alternates between stark footage of Eminem rapping and an up-close reconstruction of the Route 91 Harvest Festival mass shooting from the perspective of shooter Stephen Paddock. At the end, the video shows TV news footage of other U.S. mass shootings interspersed with clips from gun control rallies, in the shape of the United States.

I'm flying into LAX tonight and downloaded the album to my Spotify so I can listen uninterrupted the whole way through. Watch the powerful video below.

Do you think the video was well thought out, or did it go too far?
