Santa arrives at the Boise Towne Square Mall on November 13th and will be available for photos daily through Christmas Eve. Want to experience more than just a visit and photo with Santa? Nov 20: The Village At Meridian Tree Lighting and Santa Arrival
Santa arrives to light as the giant Christmas tree in Fountain Square lights up at the Village at Meridian. The Treasure Valley Children's Theater, Rocky Mountain High School Diamond Dancers and Inspired Dance Studio provide the sights and sounds of the holiday season. The event begins at 6:30 PM. MORE
Nov 21: Boise Holiday Parade
The annual Boise tradition is back along Bannock and Jefferson Streets. This year's "Christmas Through a Child's Eyes" themed parade has some very special grand marshals...the children of the Treasure Valley. The parade begins at 9:45 AM. MORE
Nov 21: Mannheim Steamroller at Morrison Center
Mannheim Steamroller is almost as iconic as Christmas music itself! Grammy winner Chip Davis's show of beloved Christmas music and multimedia effects comes to the one of the most intimate venues in the Treasure Valle for two shows. The Morrison Center will host concerts at 3 PM and 8 PM. MORE
Nov 21: Pray For Snow Winter Ale Fest
For some unknown reason praying for snow to blanket Bogus Basin and drinking craft beer just seem to go hand in hand with each other. Over 35 breweries, whiskey and cigar tents, live music, local wine and food trucks take over the corner of 6th and Grove from 3-10 PM. In addition to enjoying the latest winter ales, the fest also includes a rail jam contest and Kidz Korner crafts. MORE
Nov 25-29: St. Alphonsus Festival of Trees
The Boise Centre on the Grove turns into a winter wonderland Wednesday, November 25th through Sunday, November 29th. The showcase of trees, wreaths and holiday decor benefits the Rehabilitation Center rennovation. The festival wraps up with the Festival Fashion Show and Luncheon on Monday, November 30th starting at 11 AM. MORE
Nov 26-Jan 3: Winter Garden A Glow
Over 300,000 twinkling lights bring the Idaho Botanical Garden to life daily 6-9:30 PM. Over the holiday season the display includes special visits from Santa, his reindeer pal Prancer, local choirs and more. The gardens will be closed December 1st for an exclusive party. MORE
Nov 27-30: Canyon County Festival Of Trees
The 2C's winter showcase is more than just a gallery of Christmas trees. The Ford Idaho Center transforms into a winter wonderland of custom-designed trees, centerpieces, wreaths and decorations. It also features silent auction items to help boost the money the event raises to support the Canyon County Meals on Wheels program. New this year? Nov 28: Boise Classic Movies Presents "Elf"
Spend Thanksgiving weekend with Buddy the Elf at the Egyptian. Boise Classic Movies will host two showings of the Will Ferrell Christmas classic that includes an ugly sweater contest, goodies for the kids and mulled wine for grown-ups. The showings are scheduled for 4 and 7 PM. MORE
Nov 28: Downtown Boise Christmas Tree Lighting
Once you wrap up your shopping welcome the season to Downtown Boise Saturday, November 28th from 5-7 PM. The Downtown Boise tree will be lit up on the Grove during a celebration with carols, candle-lighting, live music, food and drinks. You'll also have a chance to pay it forward to the Women's and Children's Alliance by grabbing a wish tag off the giving tree. MORE
Dec 1: Boise Classic Movies Presents "Scrooged"
Bill Murray becomes an 80's version of Ebenzer Scrooge in this holiday classic. Murray plays Frank Cross, a TV station executive who doesn't appreciate the Christmas spirit or his station's plan to air a live adaptation of the Dicken's Christmas classic. The Egyptian hosts the screening, ugly sweater contest, beer, wine and mulled wine at 7 PM. MORE
Dec 3: Boise Classic Movies Presents "White Christmas"

One the cutest areas in Southeast Boise is celebrating the spirit of the Season from 4-8 PM. The shops will stay open late and Santa will stop by for photos. MORE
Dec 4: Meridian Winter Lights Parade and Tree Lighting
The Meridian Winter Lights Parade is back for it's second year on Friday, December 4th at 6:30 PM. Watch over fifty lighted floats, trolleys, dance teams and bands walk through a Winter Wonderland! Zoo Boise hosts a free admission day as Santa brings gifts for all the zoo animals. He'll also be available for photos with all the good little boys and girls of the Treasure Valley. The event includes face painting and holiday crafts. Zoo gates open at 10 AM. MORE
Dec 5: Idaho Steelheads Teddy Bear Toss
It's the 18th year of this great Idaho Steelheads tradition! If you're attending their game against the Florida Everblades on December 5th, bring a new, stuffed, unbreakable toy with you. Instead of the traditional fish thrown on the ice after the Steelie's first goal fans can throw those toys on the ice. They'll be collected for our local chapter of the Marine Corps's Toys for Tots Programs. Don't have time to grab a toy? The Steelheads Booster Club will be selling them in the CenturyLink Arena Lobby. MORE

2C! Saturday, December 5th is your night to enjoy a holiday parade as over seventy floats make their way down Blaine Street in Caldwell. Join Santa at the fire station before the parade from 3-5 PM to tell him what's on your Christmas list this year.
