OneRepublic’s Powerful Concert for LDS Church in Salt Lake City

It caught a lot of people off-guard, but there was an event in Salt Lake City over the weekend that was for young single adults in the LDS church, and OneRepublic was the headliner! Along with Jordin Sparks, known for her experience on American Idol, and Jordan Smith, season 9 winner of NBC's The Voice.

The Together In Christ event truly witnessed an extraordinary convergence of musical talent and spiritual connection. Below, we share some of the uplifting moments that took place, and pictures from the event.

Amid the cheers and electrifying performances, the artists took the time to delve deeper into the purpose of the event — to bring Young Single Adults in the LDS Church closer together in Christ. Each artist shared their personal testimonies and reflections on their relationships with Christ, transforming the evening from a mere concert into a deeply moving and spiritual experience.

Jordan Smith wowed the LDS audience by singing one of their primary hymns, "I'm Trying to Be like Jesus."

Jordan Sparks shared her personal testimony, and expressed how thankful she was for Jesus in her life.

Ryan Tedder, lead singer of OneRepublic, shared about his upbringing in the church, as his Grandfather and Great Grandfather were both pastors.

He said, "I think Christ was a really cool guy." And the crowd went absolutely wild. "Christ hung out with everybody. He loved everybody. The message is simple. Be kind and be nice."

OneRepublic's anthemic hits filled the Delta Center with an electrifying energy. Everyone was truly united.
