Day one is in the books as we celebrate ten years of community awareness for child abuse. This is our largest event of the year and I wanted to share some great moments from Saturday.

Live For 175 is back and we hit the ten-year mark this week. I can't believe it's already been a decade of awareness for preventing abuse in the Treasure Valley. I've gotten used to phone calls, email, and interviews from listeners telling me how much of an impact I've made on in their lives. I love our community and the people I'm so blessed to meet each, but let's call attention to the TRUE heroes. You. Period. So many people have a hard time with the smallest struggles and you are able to tell your story to the world. That's simple, heroic.

I'm in awe of the support you bring each year and the love you extend to the people you don't know. If you know me then you believe me when I say that you save lives, not us. The people behind the mic that allow us to spread this message at Townsquare Media can easily shut it down. The confidence among several groups of professionals that donate their time could easily make or break this awareness campaign. I'm just lucky to be a part of something so special and here are some great people that are cycling to break the cycle on day one.
